The main industrial hub of Penang, Bayan Lepas is located at the South East section of the Penang Island, Malaysia. There are many tourist attractions in Bayan Lepas. One of them is the Snake Temple. The temple is situated at Sungai Kluang, Bayan Lepas. This is most probably the only temple of its own kind. The temple is filled with snakes coiling around the pillars and also on vases. Many tourists and too, locals pray and make offerings in the temple. Still, there are many expressways in Penang where reduce the heavy flow of traffic including the Bayan Lepas expressway and Jelutong Expressway. Thus, it is easy to travel from Bayan Lepas to the other parts of Penang including the mainland, Butterworth.

There are quite a number of Rapid Penang buses that pass through Bayan Lepas including its villages and towns. They are buses with the numbers 302, 304, 305, 307, 308, 401 and 502.
